Hotel Industry Recovery Accelerates

The hotel industry is healing faster than first thought. An updated forecast from PKF Hospitality Research shows the pace of recovery for the U.S. market “has accelerated from previous expectations.” As reported in the firm’s December issue of Hotel Horizons, PKF says improvements in key industry measurements—occupancy, RevPAR and demand—suggest the recovery will arrive a quarter earlier than previously expected.
